Excel export

Every completed calculation exports an XLSX workbook whose first worksheet is Cover. The Cover is written in English and documents purpose, inputs, method, outputs, limitations and source/documentation links.

Calculation logic / How this works

Planned independent wake-model calculation used to cross-check PyWake results with FLORIS under the same wind, turbine and layout assumptions.

  1. Reuse the same calibrated/hub-height wind resource, turbine curves and layout as the PyWake case.
  2. Configure the selected FLORIS wake/deflection/turbulence models.
  3. Run the same representative conditions or hourly series.
  4. Compare gross production, wake losses, net production and turbine-level differences against PyWake.
Scientific FLORIS production kernel is still being connected; this tab is for cross-validation rather than a separate wind-resource source.
