Excel export

Every completed calculation exports an XLSX workbook whose first worksheet is Cover. The Cover is written in English and documents purpose, inputs, method, outputs, limitations and source/documentation links.

Calculation logic / How this works

Planned optimization of turbine coordinates inside project constraints using PyWake-based energy yield as the objective engine.

  1. Load site boundary, exclusions, turbine type and minimum-spacing constraints.
  2. Use the selected initial turbine layout as the optimization starting point.
  3. Evaluate wake-affected AEP for candidate layouts with PyWake.
  4. Iterate turbine coordinates subject to boundary and spacing constraints.
  5. Return optimized coordinates and compare AEP/wake loss against the original layout.
TopFarm2 is not installed in the current lightweight deployment; this is the planned calculation flow.
